Polish Journal of Ecology - About Journal
POLISH JOURNAL OF ECOLOGY (formerly Ekologia polska) publishes original scientific research papers dealing with all aspects of ecology: both fundamental and applied, physiological ecology, evolutionary ecology, ecology of population, community, ecosystem, landscape as well as global ecology. There is no bias regarding taxons, ecosystems or geographical regions.
The following types of papers are accepted:
Research papers presenting the results of basic research are limited usually to 30 normalised, typed pages including illustrations and references (see Instructions and Information for Authors).
Special papers (limited to 50 pages) deal with a broad research projects, research synthesis or state-of-art in selected ecological fields.
Special section inside an issue containing several research papers dealing with the same problem can be also considered. In both cases, the authors should consult with Editor before submission.
Research notes (limited to 8 pages) present brief or specific research results, new methods, models, etc.
Announcements of upcoming events and newly published books related to the topics of the journal can be also included.
All types of papers are reviewed.
All papers are published only in English.
POLISH JOURNAL OF ECOLOGY is published in four issues per year.
